The following people have been appointed as Joseph Rowntree Visionaries for a Just and Peaceful World:-

• Karen Chouhan – Black-led decision making approach to race equality in the UK, with a particular focus on economic inequality.

• Roy Head – Saving lives by tackling inequality of information about health in the developing world.

• Heather Parker/Mark Hinton (jobshare)  - Building bridges within a local UK community and between that community and the developing world

• Carne Ross – Helping marginalised groups, states and countries through independent diplomacy

• Clive Stafford Smith – Increasing human rights by closing Guantanamo Bay and the other secret prisons

• Geoff Tansey - Creating a world in which everyone can feed themselves sustainably
